Reglin FRAS 60 Skirting Rubber is a fire resistant and anti-static 60 Duro rubber designed for use as a conveyor sealing skirt.
FEATURES
FRAS 60 Skirting Rubber is made from a premium grade synthetic rubber compound designed specifically to be fire resistant and anti-static. It is independently tested and certified by the Mine Safety Technology Centre to meet MDG 3006 / MDG 3608 Non-metallic Materials for use in Underground Coal Mines.
FRAS 60 Skirting Rubber has good physical properties including mechanical strength and tear resistance.
FRAS 60 Skirting is flexible and is designed to bend against the conveyor belt to create a seal once adjusted. This flexible seal reduces both material spillage and dust escaping even on systems with inconsistent belt levels. This design pro-longs the life of the skirt and also minimizes the potential of wear and damage to the conveyor belt itself.
FRAS 60 Skirting Rubber can be supplied in full rolls or pre-cut skirting rubber strips to suit standard conveyor system designs, ready for easy installation.

APPLICATIONS
Reglin FRAS 60 Skirting Rubber has been designed primarily for use as a containment seal.
It is installed on conveyor equipment as a sealing skirt at loading and transfer points to reduce spillage and dust emissions.
FRAS 60 is ideal for applications where ignition points and fire potential are a high risk. It is predominantly installed on conveyors used in the following facilities:

- Coal Preparation and Processing Plants

- Grain Handling and Processing Plants
