Weather and high temperature resistant closed cell EPDM sponge sheet
FEATURES
EPDM Sponge Sheet is made from an expanded premium EPDM rubber compound with closed cells creating an easily compressible air and watertight seal.
It has good physical properties including mechanical strength and will display high temperature and excellent chemical resistance to both acids and alkalis.
These weather resistant sponge sheets provide excellent ozone/UV resistance and are suitable for extended outdoor use.
EPDM sponge sheet also displays outstanding water resistance making it suitable for prolonged exposure to aquatic environments as it will not deteriorate when submerged in fresh water or sea water.
APPLICATIONS
EPDM Sponge Sheet has been designed for use as a compressible strip, pad, gasket or lining for sealing or insulating in long term applications with limited cycles of compression.
Suitable for long term use in outdoor and marine environments with high UV exposure, it is also used in a range of applications with exposure to high temperatures and mild chemicals.
