Reglin Platinum Cured Silicone Rubber Sheet is made from a premium Silicone rubber compound and is manufactured using a high-end platinum cure system.
Platinum cured Silicone Rubber Sheet is peroxide free and has superior physical properties when compared to standard Silicone. It has very high temperature resistance and will maintain its flexibility and physical properties over a wide temperature range. Silicone has excellent ozone resistance and is UV stable making it weather resistant and suitable for outdoor use.
Reglin Platinum cured Silicone Rubber Sheet is tested and conforms to FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 “Rubber articles intended for repeated use”. This makes it suitable for contact with dry, aqueous and fatty foods as defined by the FDA.
It is carefully produced to comply with European Commission regulations EC2023/2006 “good manufacturing practise for materials and articles intended to come into contact with food”.
STANDARDS
Reglin Platinum cured Silicone Rubber Sheet conforms with the following standards.
As stated in FDA 21 CFR 177.2600. In accordance with good manufacturing practise finished rubber articles intended for repeated use in contact with food shall be thoroughly cleansed prior to their first use in contact with food.
APPLICATIONS
Reglin Platinum cured Silicone Rubber Sheet has been designed primarily for use as a flexible strip, pad, gasket or lining.
It is typically used for sealing, insulating, isolating and protecting steel or other surfaces.
Platinum cured Silicone is suitable for critical applications such as medical and pharmaceutical which require an extremely clean, low volatile and low outgassing rubber.
Its properties make it suitable for use in a wide range of applications including:
