Premium grade 65 Duro heat resistant peroxide cured sulphur free EPDM rubber sheet
FEATURES
Peroxide Cured EPDM Rubber Sheet is made from a premium EPDM rubber compound. It has been cured using a peroxide system giving it superior heat and ozone/UV resistance compared to standard EPDM rubber. This makes the rubber sheet highly weather resistant and suitable for extended outdoor use. It also displays very high temperature resistance and has excellent chemical resistance properties to both acids and alkalis.
These EPDM rubber sheets are sulphur free and will not have any chemical migration to its surface during ageing. This ensures it will not bloom, assisting in bonding and ensuring good colour retention.
Peroxide cured EPDM rubber sheet also exhibits outstanding water resistance and is suitable for prolonged exposure to aquatic environments as it will not deteriorate when submerged in fresh or sea water. It is also compatible with hot water and steam.
APPLICATIONS
Peroxide Cured EPDM Rubber Sheet has been designed for use as a flexible strip, pad, gasket or lining for sealing, insulating, isolating and protecting steel or other surfaces.
It is suitable for long term use in outdoor and marine environments with high UV exposure.
They are also suitable for a range of applications with exposure to high temperatures and mild chemicals or where a sulphur free rubber sheet is required.
