FDA approved wear resistant food grade 40 Duro rubber lining with a buffed back
FEATURES
Food Grade 40 Lining Rubber is made from a highly elastic premium natural rubber compound and will display excellent resistance to abrasion. This extremely flexible food grade rubber lining is both non-toxic and non-marking, and has excellent physical properties including cut and tear resistance.
It has been tested and conforms to FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 “Rubber articles intended for repeated use”. This makes it suitable for contact with dry, aqueous and fatty foods as defined by the FDA.
This white lining rubber also features a pre-buffed finish on one side to assist with adhesion when bonded to steel or rubber surfaces. It can be bonded using a wide range of Neoprene based rubber adhesives.
STANDARDS
Food Grade 40 conforms with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600.
As stated in FDA CFR 21.177.2600. In accordance with good manufacturing practise finished rubber articles intended for repeated use in contact with food shall be thoroughly cleansed prior to their first use in contact with food
APPLICATIONS
Food Grade 40 Lining Rubber has been designed primarily for use as a wear and corrosion protection lining system for industrial applications.
It is bonded to industrial equipment to protect steel surfaces from wet and fine particle sliding abrasion or mechanically installed for sealing applications.
Predominantly used in the food manufacturing and processing industries, it is also used in manufacturing and mineral processing for a range of applications which require a non-marking light pigmented rubber. It is typically used on the following equipment:
- Tanks and Pipework
- Valves and Pumps
- Sand Mills
- Classifiers and Impellors
- Conveyor Belt Pulleys and Idlers
Food Grade 40 Lining Rubber can also be used for any application which requires a wear resistant highly flexible, white or food grade rubber lining including the following:
- Loading / Discharge Socks
- Wear Curtains
- Transfer and Joining Sleeves
- Variety of Sealing Applications.
