Premium grade corrosion resistant 50 Duro bromobutyl rubber lining with a CN bonding layer
FEATURES
Butyline Lining Rubber is made from a premium bromobutyl rubber compound and will display high temperature and excellent chemical resistance to both acids and alkalis.
It has good physical properties and will display moderate resistance to wet slurry and fine particle sliding abrasion. It also has excellent insulating properties and low fluid and gas permeability.
Butyline Lining Rubber has excellent ozone/UV resistance making it weather resistant and suitable for outdoor use.
This bromobutyl rubber lining also features a specially formulated Neoprene based CN bonding layer to achieve ultimate adhesion when bonded to steel or rubber surfaces. The CN bonding layer is compatible with a wide range of Neoprene based rubber adhesives and allows for good bond strength to be achieved even in adverse conditions encountered on site.
APPLICATIONS
Butyline Lining Rubber has been designed primarily for use as a corrosion and wear protection lining system for industrial applications.
It is bonded to industrial equipment to protect surfaces from chemical attack and corrosion, as well as wet slurry and fine particle abrasion.
This high-quality lining rubber is predominantly used in the quarrying, mineral processing and mining industries, typically on the following equipment:
