R-Line 38 Lining Rubber – Premium
38 Duro, Wear Resistant, Natural Rubber, Buffed Back
R-Line 38 Lining Rubber is a pink, premium grade, soft, flexible and highly elastic 38 Duro wear resistant natural rubber sheet which has excellent resistance to wet slurry and fine particle sliding abrasion.
R-Line 38 will display resistance to some mild chemicals, including acids and alkalis used in mineral processing.
R-Line 38 is supplied with a buffed back finish to assist in adhesion when bonded to steel or other rubber surfaces but still maintains its full flexibility making it stretchable and compressible during application. To achieve good bond strength, the TRS range of cold, vulcanising adhesives are recommended.
R-Line 38 has excellent physical properties including cut and tear resistance making it suitable for wear protection rubber lining applications.

R-Line 38 Lining Rubber has been designed primarily for use as a rubber lining for the wear and corrosion protection of steel surfaces of equipment. It’s mainly used for wet abrasion applications such as slurry handling in the Mineral processing industry but can be used for any fine particle abrasion applications. Typical equipment to be lined includes:
- Pipe and tank linings
- Valves and pumps
- Flotation Cells
- Mill feed Chutes
- Sumps and underpans
- Magnetic seperator drums
It can also be used for other applications which require a flexible abrasion resistant rubber including:
- Loading socks
- Transfer and joining sleeves
- Variety of sealing applications
- Mining & Quarrying
