    TAC 250 Cold Vulcanising Adhesive

    FEATURES

    TAC 250 Cold Vulcanising Adhesive is a Two-Part Poly-chloroprene based rubber cement, that is designed for cold bonding rubber to other materials. It is specifically designed for bonding rubber to metal, fabric or other rubber surfaces but can also be used to bond rubber to a variety of different surfaces.

    TAC 250 is free from chlorinated solvents.

    TAC 250 is primarily used for the cold bonding of wear and corrosion protection rubber linings and pulley lagging. To achieve ultimate adhesion when bonding with TAC 250, it is recommended to use products with the Reglin CN Bonding Layer.

    The CN bonding layer and TAC adhesive system are extremely flexible and allow for good bond strength to be achieved even in adverse conditions often encountered when the application is occurring on site on operational equipment.

    Applications

    TAC 250 Cold Vulcanising Adhesive has been designed primarily for use when bonding rubber to other rubber surfaces or to steel surfaces of equipment.

    It is suitable for use to bond rubber in a variety of applications including:

    • Rubber lining
    • Rubber backed ceramic lining
    • Pulley lagging
    • Variety of bonding applications

     

    CURING

    It is important to note that full curing of TAC250 / Irodur E462 adhesive system occurs after 7 days but may take longer due to substrate causing solvent entrapment.
