Food Grade 40 Lining Rubber – Premium

40 Duro, Food Grade, FDA Compliant, Wear Resistant, Natural Rubber, Buffed Back

Reglin Food Grade 40 Lining rubber is a white, premium grade, hygienic, soft, flexible and highly elastic 40 Duro rubber sheet. It is wear resistant natural rubber, which has excellent resistance to wet and dry fine particle sliding abrasion. It is FDA compliant, per 21 CFR 177.2600, making it approved for repeated and long-term contact with food.

Food Grade 40 is supplied with a buffed back finish to assist in adhesion when bonded to steel or other rubber surfaces but still maintains its full flexibility making it stretchable and compressible during application. To achieve good bond strength, the TRS range of cold, vulcanising adhesives are recommended.

Food Grade 40 is non-toxic, non-marking and non allergenic. It has good physical properties including mechanical strength and cut and tear resistance making it suitable for Wear protection rubber lining and sealing applications which require a which require a flexible and compressible rubber.

    Applications

Food Grade 40 has been designed primarily for use as a rubber lining for the wear protection of steel surfaces of equipment. Its mainly used for light abrasion applications in the Food handing and processing industries but can be used for any fine particle abrasion applications which require an un-pigmented, non-marking, rubber. Typical equipment to be lined includes:

    • Pipes and Tanks
    • Valves and pumps
    • Sand mills
    • Classifiers and impellors
    • Conveyor belt pulleys and idlers

It can also be used for other applications which require a food grade flexible abrasion resistant rubber including:

    • Food and wine tank seals
    • Loading socks
    • Transfer and joining sleeves
    • Variety of sealing applications.
